RESSICO TOP WEEK END AT SARNO IN THE WSK EURO SERIES.
The young italian OKJ driver Lorenzo Ressico D’Aloisio comes back from Sarno with some good points scored and with a great racing week end in his curriculum. In the premier of the WSK Euro Master Series the Birel ART Junior driver has started the week end missing the pole position (2nd) but showing an amazing speed. In the four heats Ressico kept his great pace being twice the best lap driver and scoring 6th, 8th, 3rd and 4th: a great collection of great results which granted him the chance to start in the Pre Final from the third row. In the Pre Final, for some unknown reason, the overall performance of the Ressico’s kart slowed down and the italian had to fight hardly to end 7th. On Sunday, in the Final, Ressico started 14th and came back very well until the 7th position overall. A great result but not exactly the one he really deserved this week end.
In the 60 Mini category an accident occurred to the dutch driver Terlow forced him to give up the race (little fracture for him), Banevsky has been stopped in the Pre Final for a penalty collected at the end of the race, Keeren was very unlucky to have a little issue at the start of the Pre Final which forced him to miss the Final and Amendola either had to quit his week end during the Pre Final after some hard fight on track.
This first round fo the new WSK Euro Series has, anyway, shown some very good performances from the Birel ART Junior driver thanks to the hard work did by them with the technical crew.
Birel ART Junior will come back on track in three weeks for the first round of the CIK FIA European Championship which will take place at Angerville (F).
