Sometimes the hard work doesn’t pay back. With this sentence it can be resumed the CIK FIA World Championship of the Birel ART Junior driver Lorenzo Ressico D’Aloisio. Very quick and consistent during the official testing days at Kristianstad, the italian driver started his most important racing week end of the 2018 season with a lot of potential to show and a great commintement to achieve.

During the whole week end, unfortunately, the italian team, managed by the former F1 driver Giorgio Pantano, has struggled with many techical problem which have slowed down the pace of the italian young driver. With a 23th sport got during the qualyfing session, Ressico has been forced the start each heats from the back of the grid, being able anyway to make some great comebacks but suffering a retirement in one of them and fighting everytime with the unstable performances of his go-kart.

Because of this “up and down” performances, Resicco didn’t gain the access to the Final loosing all the hopes to performe in this important event of the season. Of course a lot of disappoinment and sadness has been felt by the Team Principal Pantano at the end of the swedish event

Giorgio Pantano: “I am so frustrated because Ressico made a very great job since the official testing days. We came here with a lot of expectations but for many different reasons we had not be able to give him a good performing kart during the whole week end. Of course the instability of the weather conditions has deleted all the datas we collected during the test, but anyway I don’t really know why the pace was not there. Will see next year.”

Now the next racing event for the Birel ART Junior will another “main one”: International ROK Final at Lonato the 13th Oct.
