The last round of the CIK FIA European Championship, held at Circuit International Du Grand Ouest Essay (F) last week end, has declared the italian Birel ART Junior Team driver Lorenzo Ressico D’Aloisio as one of the top driver of the OKJ category.


The tuscanian boy has made a great step ahead in the overall standing of the category joined, as a rookie, this season. In the last month the italian driver has been always on the same pace of the “front runners” showing a great maturity and a very high driving skills. In this last event of the CIK FIA series Ressico scored the 13th spot in the qualifying session, improving during the heats ending three times in the TOP 10 positions but being penalized, in just one heat, for the front fairing.


This single negative result has effected the whole week end, pulling him in the 24 row of the grid (27th) in the Final. Unluckly for him at the very start of the final race he was


Giorgio Pantano: “I am very satisfied because Lorenzo is performing very well in his first season in the OKJ category. The step between the 60 Mini and the OKj is pretty big and is not easy to be so quick in such competitive serie sas the CIK FIA one. We are growing a lot and I’am pretty sure that before the end of the season the whole work did so far by our team will be completely paind back.”


In the weeks (18th August) the italian team will attend a race at Kristianstad (S) to train its drivers to the upcoming CIK FIA World Championship which will take place at the swedish track the 23th September.
