A penalty kicks off Ressico d’Aloisio from the final.
Birel ART Junior Team, once again, made a very good job in the third round of the CIK FIA European Championship, held at Ampfing (D). The young italian driver Lorenzo Ressico D’Aloisio has been extremely quick in the OKJ category, being able to score four great results in the heats but missing just one of them due to a front fairing penalty which has excluded him from the Final grid. Ressico was so fast to score a stunning second best lap time during the sunday warm up, just 13 thousandths of a seconds behind the leader.
For the two OK Birel ART Junior Team drivers Cuman and Markogiannis the week end didn’t turn well with the italian who shown a very great pace during the heats but suffering a bit too much phisically the technical german track and the greek still on his way to increase the experience in a such competitive racing enviroment as the CIK FIA series.
A bit of regret for the Team Birel ART Junior Team Principal Giorgio Pantano who was happy for his driver performances but, in the other hand, was disappointed to have not acheived the results deserved after a long week of hard work.
Next event will come up in few days at Lonato where the Birel ART Junior Team drivers will attend the WSK Open Cup.
